What do you love about working at Elite Roofing? Beyond our team, that we are truly blessed to have and work with daily it would have to be our customers. The lifelong customers we have come in contact with, the constant positive feedback from our customers, the personal relationships that started out as customers, the referrals business or personal, or a friend or a friend who were told to call us, and on and on and the amount trust that people have in us that refer us and watching that trust be continually proven day in day out. I love that! I love being who we say we are and doing what we tell people we are going to do! Nothing is more fulfilling than the customer service business when you do it right! Thank you to all of our customers who continue to make us who we are.
What has been your favorite project so far? Wow, so many cool and unique projects over the years for so many amazing people, I cannot pick one. So many amazing jobs, customers, and experiences, there can never be just one.
One of my favorite customer experiences is a customer by the name of Karen Janik. Karen called us from a referral back in 2014 and needed some rotten fascia replaced around her home in Redmond. When I met with Karen and after walking around her home with her for a while we came to the conclusion together that she had a larger problem than some rotten fascia in a few areas. Karen had a stone coated steel metal roof that had been installed incorrectly and in addition to that it was installed on top of her original shake roof that was falling apart underneath. After some time, research, and a lot of sample boards later Karen decided on a new Davinci Roofscapes Slate roof replacement for her home. Karens job was not easy due to a multiple layer tear off with a full re sheet of plywood, a steep roof pitch, and a heavy amount of tree cover. At the end of the project Karen could not have been more pleased with her new roof, the crew, and the extreme roof makeover we gave her home. Karen is one of those special people that always gives feedback, and I loved hearing all of it. But my story with Karen does not end there. Karen called us several years later to inquire about roof cleaning services. We sent one of our roof cleaning technicians Nathan out to take care of Karen's roof cleaning. I got a call from Karen shortly after and she just raved about Nathan and how great of a job he did and how polite and professional he was. I got the opportunity to thank Karen again for her feedback about our company but also about Nathan who happens to be one of my sons who works with our team. Karen still calls us on a regular basis to have us come out and clean the roof and all things roof related on her new home and like every time before she is always a pleasure to deal with. I will always smile when I hear the name Karen Janik and be forever grateful that we are the ones she called to help her with her rotten fascia problem.
